Scanner Not Connecting?

Whilst this is rare, it can occasionally happen. But not to worry - It takes 60 seconds to fix! Simply follow the steps below:

Step 1

Open up settings on your Tablet, then click

ConnectionsBluetooth

(dont toggle it off, just tap the word Bluetooth)


You should see

NT barcode scanner ⚙️

Click the ⚙️ to the right and then
click
unpair (bottom of screen).

<this will unpair your scanner from the tablet>

Step 2

Now Scan this Barcode with your scanner

Step 3 - Reconnect

Now Scan this other Barcode with your scanner to allow Bluetooth connection.

Step 4

In the Bluetooth section of the tablet, you should see a new option to connect to

⌨️ NT Barcode Scanner

<if you don't see this, press the
Scan button top right.>

Connect to this.

 

Step 5

Once connected, scan this barcode:

Step 6

And finally, Scan this last barcode below

 You are now reconnected. Simply open the Unifi app on your tablet and tap connect.

If you see 'Scan Active' you have been successful.
